Six BlueClaws Playing In Tonight’s SAL All-Star Game
Tonight is the annual South vs North All-Star Game for the South Atlantic League. The game is being held at Spirit Communications Park, home of the Columbia Fireflies.
The Lakewood BlueClaws have six players on the North division roster, five pitchers and a catcher.
Top L-R: P Trevor Bettencourt, SP Nick Fanti, P Will Hibbs
Bottom L-R: SP JoJo Romero, SP Ranger Suarez, C Edgar Cabral
Fanti, Suarez and Romero make up half of the Top 6 ERA leaders in the South Atlantic League. Romero and Suarez are also tied for the sixth-most strikeouts, with Fanti coming in at 10th. Will Hibbs has the third most saves in the SAL.
