If you're heading to Seaside Heights tomorrow morning for the Polar Bear Plunge, give yourself extra time.

There will only be one lane open heading east-bound over the North bridge due to the winter construction on the bridge deck of the  draw bridge that won't be completed til May 12th.

Officials say, "The DOT has been working very closely with the event organizers as well as local officials regarding the Polar Plunge this weekend, and basically we’re recommending that anyone attending the event look at alternate routes".

Seaside Heights is expecting over 5,000 people to be either jumping into the Atlantic Ocean, or watching from the boardwalk.
