When warnings are sent out about swimming advisories, I would listen if I were you.

These alerts are coming from the State Department of Environmental Protection and they are basically telling you where there are "high levels of fecal bacteria" at the Shore.

POOOO....ewwwwwwwwwwww.

And just to make you are aware, you do have the freedom to swim in these areas even if there is an advisory but the bacteria can "cause gastrointestinal illnesses" to the swimmer.

Is it worth it? Hmmmm....I don't know, that's up to you.

But let me show you the most recent batch of beaches, bays and rivers at the Jersey Shore who are currently under swimming advisories:

The Jersey Shore Beaches & Bays Currently Under Swimming Advisories

Ewwwwwwww

If you know of any other warnings or advisories that the public should know about at the Jersey Shore, please email me at Nicole.Murray@townsquaremedia.com so I can help you get the word out there.

Stay safe and enjoy the sun!

And how about we switch things up to a bit more....fun for you and the family?
