Ruby Tuesday Closing Three Shore Locations
Let's get it out of the way - Goodbye Ruby Tuesday.
The restaurant chain has been struggling the past few years, as a lot of the casual dining chains have. The Ruby Tuesday in Howell closed in 2018, and now they've announced that their spots on Route 70 in Lakewood, the Freehold Raceway Mall in Freehold Township and at Route 66 in Neptune.
At the moment, the locations on Route 37 in Toms River is still open. Surprisingly, the location at the Monmouth Mall is also open.
Honestly, Ruby Tuesday was always...fine. I always felt like they were a fraction higher than Applebee's or Friday's, but there was never a time I went out of my way to visit one. While I feel bad for the staff who is going to be out of work, I won't lose sleep over a national chain going out of business.
