New Jersey Kids Will Love This Summertime Day Camp Near The Beach
With summer coming up quickly, it's time to start planning fun activities to do with friends and family.
Fortunately for us, living near the Jersey Shore there's really no shortage of options available to us.
Whether it's long days at the beach, exploring countless trails and state parks, or going to any of the amusement parks in the area, summers are fun and exciting.
For some people though, summers mean camp, and the popular Point Pleasant Beach Park Summer Camp is once again scheduled for the summer of 2023.
The camp is open to residents and non-residents of Point Pleasant, although there are different dates for registration and pricing depending on where you live.
When Does Registration For Point Pleasant Summer Camp Open Up?
For residents, they'll be able to register their kids for camp starting as soon as May 15th.
For non-residents the date is a little bit later, according to Patch, people who live outside of Point Pleasant can register their kids for camp starting June 1st if space is available.
When Does Point Pleasants Summer Camp Start?
The camp will run from July 10th through August 18th and is on a Monday Through Friday schedule.
Kids can be dropped off at 8:15 AM and picked up at 12:45 PM at Pleasure Park, 702 St. Louis Avenue.
The summer camp is open to kids grades K through 9.
How Much Does Point Pleasant Summer Camp Cost?
Again, the cost will vary based on whether you're a Point Pleasant resident or not.
For residents, full registration will cost $375.
If you're a non-resident, then the camp will run $500 for full registration.
You can also do a week-by-week registration, which costs $125 for residents, and $200 a week for non-residents.
It's a win-win, kids get an 8-week-long day camp where they can make friends and do fun activities, and parents get a couple of hours each day to do what they want to do.
Be sure to follow the Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee on Facebook to stay up to date with camp details.
