Philadelphia Sports Fans Deserve a Championship
The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat, that was the story of Philadelphia Sports Fans on Thursday Night! The Phillies and Eagles have given their fans a lot to cheer about this fall and what a run and we’ve been on. The fans have been recognized by the national sports media as a key ingredient to their teams' success and a real homefield advantage. The Diehard Philadelphia fan "lives and dies" with each snap and each pitch which is why they can be so critical when things aren’t going well but their passion for their teams always shine through. The Philadelphia sports fans are loyal, they are a special breed and when the players work hard and give it their all the Philly fan appreciates the effort.
When our teams are winning, there’s nothing like it and being at Lincoln Financial Field and Citizens Bank Park is an experience unlike any other, especially when we are winning. On Thursday Night, the fans were treated to a unique experience with the Eagles playing the Houston Texans on Thursday Night Football while the Phillies played the Houston Astros in Game Five of the World Series. What a dilemma to have!?! Many fans watched the games at local bars while others watched at home with multiple TV's and devices plus some had to exercise their trigger fingers with the remove switching back-and-forth. How cool was it seeing so many Philadelphia sports fans flooding the stadium in Houston on Thursday Night Football! For their dedication and recognition as the best fanbase in sports, they deserve a championship! The Eagles won in Houston to stay undefeated at 8-0, the first time in team history to accomplish that but the Phillies lost and head back to Houston down Three games to two in the best of Seven series.
