Two Ocean County residents are arrested following a multi-jurisdictional investigation into illegal drug activity.

Prosecutors office detectives arrested them both in the ShopRite parking lot on Route 37 in Toms River where over 200 individual doses of heroin as well as undisclosed amounts of cocaine were found.

Detectives also arrested Nicole Davison of Waretown who was spotted buying the drugs.

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer said that on March 22 Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutors Office Narcotics Strike Force, Lacey Township Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit, Berkeley Township Police Department, and Toms River Police Department collaborated to conduct an undercover investigation into illegal drug activity in Ocean County.

During the course of the investigation, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force Detectives located Lockwood and Serovinski operating a 2002 Blue Ford Explorer in the parking lot of the Shop Rite on Route 37 in Toms River.

While conducting surveillance of Lockwood and Serovinski, Detectives observed them engage in suspicious activity indicative of an illicit drug sale with a female later identified as Nicole Davison of Waretown.

As Prosecutor’s Office Detectives approached the car, Lockwood, who was seated in the driver’s seat, began to reach into the center console and behind the seat.

As the officers attempted to remove him from the vehicle, Lockwood became combative, resisted arrest, and caused injury to one of the Detectives who required treatment at the scene for his injuries.

When detectives searched the vehicle they uncovered a loaded flair gun behind the seat as well as a large machete knife.

There were also approximately 200 individual dosage units of heroin and quantities of cocaine located and seized from the vehicle.

Davison was also found to be in possession of cocaine.
