There are literally five movies (with a sixth planned) that have told me that driving through a park full of dinosaurs only ends in a bad way. T-Rex doesn't want to be fed, T-Rex wants to hunt! At least I know that their vision is based on movement, so if I stay perfectly still they won't see me.

The people at Jurassic Quest were so preoccupied with whether or not they could bring dinosaurs to Philadelphia that they didn't stop to think if they should. Okay, last Jurassic Park quote for now, let's focus on the actual drive-thru!

We're all looking for something, anything to do during the pandemic, so a drive-thru dinosaur safari sounds perfect. Jurassic Quest is bringing seventy dinosaurs to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center from September 4th through the 13th.

Jurassic Quest is "the largest exhibition of lifesize, moving, museum-quality dinosaurs in North America", and they are bringing their touring show across the country. They obviously had to cancel a bunch of events during the heart of the lockdown, but they're back on the road and coming to Philadelphia next month.

Tickets are $49 per car, and can be bought HERE. They also offer a few add-on bundles that promise "dinosaur surprises".

Jurassic Quest says they are obviously taking enhanced health and safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID. If this was an indoor event I'd be hesitant to go, but since they've set it up to be a drive-thru, I would be much more comfortable packing the kids in the car and treating it similar to the Six Flags Wild Safari.

The dinosaurs do look pretty cool, so if you've got a budding archeologist in your family, this would be a fun thing to do.
