Every year we seem to have more and more intense nameable storms, hurricanes, and Nor'Easters which bring strong winds, rain, flooding, and devastation to the area.

This year is looking to be no different, and the list of names that are going to be used for this year's storm season has been released, there are some pretty unique names on the list this year.

NJ Could See An Intense Storm Season During The 2025 Hurricane Season

early predictions are showing that this years hurricane season may be more intense than last year's and that's due to warmer temperatures and the El Nino which cooks up these intense storms.

This year, we have a total of 21 possible storms that could be impacting the Garden State.

It could be more, it could be less, but right now forecasters have released the complete list of storm names for 2025, and there are some pretty unique names on 2025's list.

Here Are All The Names Of 2025's Tropical Storms

You'll see newer spellings of classic names, such as Rebekah, we could see a tropical storm Karen this year as well as a tropical storm Ferdinand, and those are just a few of the unique names on this year's list.

Each year forecasters picked 21 names, excluding names that use an X, Y, Z or a U just because there aren't many names that start with those letters, according to CBS.

Hopefully, we don't have to use all 21 of these names.
