For example, rumor has it that the old Quaker Steak and Lube in Brick may soon become Ocean County's very first Raising Cane's Chicken which is very exciting if you ask me!

Sadly though, part of having such a diverse and exciting restaurant scene means that we see a lot of turnover.

Whether it's just a tough economic climate or due to forces beyond anyone's control, we tend to see more and more restaurants closing each year.

For example, after nearly 2 decades of serving the Wildwood community Goodnight Irene's had to close up shop for good after the 2024 summer season.

Goodnight Irene's isn't the only casualty of 2024, according to APP this was a tough year for the restaurant industry and we saw the closure of a lot of restaurants that I thought were incredibly popular and would be mainstays at the Jersey Shore.
