This Is My Biggest Pet Pet Peeve About The State Of New Jersey

Living in New Jersey can be great; we have easy access to beautiful beaches and small towns, the food in this state is beyond amazing, and you're just a hop and skip from a number of major cities.

My wife and I have lived in Jersey for about 4 years now and love every part of it, however, there are also a few drawbacks.

For example; property taxes in Jersey are killer, we have some of the highest property taxes on the East Coast, and there's no sign of them going down.

The traffic can also be pretty bad, especially during the summer season when all of our roads are backed up with out-of-towners trying to make their way to the beach.

But small inconveniences are worth putting up with in order to call the Garden State home, in my opinion, the positives outweigh the negatives.

That being said, there's something I see in Jersey a lot that really grinds my gears, it's something that I see way too often everywhere, and it's just rude.

And yeah, I may sound like an old man yelling at the sky, but this is my New Jersey Pet Peeve that I've got to get off my chest.

Have you ever been in a rush to get into Shop Rite, or Stop and Shop, and you find the perfect pull-through parking space?

So you start to pull in only to realize that someone left their shopping cart in a parking spot, rather than taking the 30 seconds it takes to take it back to the cart corral?

I don't know about you, but that drives me crazy! Not only does that cart run the risk of getting picked up by a gust of wind and slamming into someone's car, but now that cart is preventing someone from using a parking space.

There's nothing that gets me fired up more than when that happens, end of rant.
