NJ Fishermen Catch Rare Blue Lobster
A genetic mutation can turn 1 in 2,000,000 lobsters blue. The crew of the Sea Isle City-based vessel Two Dukes made the incredibly rare catch last week!
Eric Burcaw and his sons, Kevin and Eric Jr, were about 85 miles offshore when Eric Jr brought up a trap containing the cerulean crustacean.
Rather than becoming dinner, the Burcaws will donate the lobster to an aquarium.
