This Is NJ’s Best Small Town Ice Cream Shop
There's nothing quite like getting ice cream near the Jersey Shore.
Having a cool ocean breeze blow lightly across your face as you wait in line to get a scoop or two of your favorite flavor.

When my wife and I are looking to go out for ice cream we always make a trip over the bridge so we can get ice cream from Iceberg in Lavallette, Kohrs Bros, or Mister Softee on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk.
The best places to get ice cream in the summer though come from those smaller places that are off the beaten path.
Places like Yellow Brick Road, Mrs. Walkers, and Rich's are among some of the best in Ocean County.
But if you want the best ice cream from one of Jersey's best little shops, you may have to take a little bit of a road trip.

Sure, there's a Kohrs Bros on the main strip of town, but where you'll really want to go is slightly off the path onto 3rd Avenue.
There, you'll likely see a large line of people lined up down the street waiting in line for Springer's Ice Cream.
According to Only In Your State, Springer's has some of the best ice cream at the shore, what's really cool is that the building that Springers is in now was at one point an under-the-radar bar during prohibition.
In fact, Springers has been in business for nearly 100 years!
Springer's has a huge variety of homemade ice cream flavors that'll leave you wanting more after your visit, flavors like Drunk Cherry, Egg Nog, Cookie Dough, Butterscotch Brickle and so many more!
I'd recommend at least two scoops on a waffle cone, but that's just me.
Jersey isn't only known for ice cream, we've got some pretty killer drive bars too.
