New Shopping Plaza Coming To Route 35 In Wall

The building on Route 35 in Wall that used to be a Levitz has been sitting empty since 2005.

Demolition is finally beginning to tear it down and replace it with a brand new "Wall Promenade", which is slated to feature three new buildings. The first and largest will have three retail stores. The second has space for a bank and two restaurants. The third and smallest will be leased to Starbucks with a drive-in, and MedExpress.

Developers said the first tenants could be open in early 2018.

This location is just about half a mile away from The Circus Drive-In, which has also been sold to make way for a new business. People tried to save The Circus, but the developers say they won't bring a new restaurant to that location.
