Say goodbye to the coin-operated parking meters that are on the streets of Seaside Heights. They are being replaced.

Brand new electronic kiosks will be replacing the coin-operated meters and the older electronic meters that already exist.

According to Shorebeat:

Visitors will see newer, easier-to-operate kiosks next season, and the devices are expected to come with convenience features, such as the ability to add time to a meter from one’s smartphone.

The township is hoping to have them ready by April 1st, 2020
