I'm pretty sure no state love's their Italian food more than the fine folks of New Jersey. And we know a nice lasagna when we taste one.

And we have so many amazing Italian restaurants and pizzerias to choose from. There is literally one on just about every corner of this amazing state we live in.

There are a few things we should lead with. I think that every New Jersey lasagna is good. By that I mean even a bad one is better than eating tofu if you know what I mean.

It's merely a matter of just how good that lasagna is, right. And now a national publication has named the best lasagna in the land of the lasagna, the great Garden State.

Now, I know what you're thinking. There are hundreds of places throughout the state that could have received this honor, and it would have been justified. True enough. Ask 100 people in New Jersey and they might give you 100 different answers.

But, in this case, the choice is Trattoria La Sorrentina, so let's celebrate them and their now highly praised lasagna.
