As we get closer and closer to the holidays, it's time to revisit some great Jersey Shore traditions.

Whether it's going to Cape May to enjoy the sights and sounds, headed to one of the many fabulous tree lightings in the state, or enjoying a holiday market like the one in Seaside Park each year, there are lots of great things happening this time of year.

One of the most fun events happening during this team of year is Santa-Con, and once again it's getting ready to take over the Jersey Shore.

Santa Con Is Returning To Seaside Heights, NJ This Year

The annual tradition where you dress up in your best holiday costume is returning to Seaside Heights and will have you partying like Santa all over the island.

If you're curious about what Santa Con is all about, their website says it all.

SantaCon is a non-denominational, non-commercial, non-political, and non-sensical Santa Claus convention that occurs once a year for absolutely no reason. It’s your chance to spread holiday cheer in the most magical and absurd way possible.

To be clear, despite the fact that Santa Con takes you from bar to bar throughout Seaside Heights, it is not a bar crawl.

In fact, every time you call it a bar crawl a sugar plum fairy dies, that's right from their website.

When Is Santa Con 2023 In Seaside Heights, NJ?

According to Santa Con Seaside Heights, NJ Santa Con this year will be held Saturday, December 16th.

It starts at Hooks in Seaside Heights, and in order to register you have to bring two canned food donations for Santa's Food Drive as well as an unwrapped gift for the charity toy drive.

There's a lot that goes into Santa Con to make it as fun a day for everyone involved, and personally, my wife and I can't wait to get our costumes together and join in on the Santa fun!
