The Amazing Way New Jersey Can Tip Amazon Workers For Free
This is such a simple thing to do that will absolutely brighten your delivery driver's day, plus it could put a little extra cash in their pocket without costing you a penny.
I'm sure you're like me; you order something from Amazon, you get the email saying the package was successfully delivered, and then move on with your day.
When I was doing mornings, I'd usually see the Amazon delivery guy if it was an afternoon delivery but anymore that's not so much an option.
It was always nice to give them a wave and say thanks.
Thanks to Alexa though, you can now send your Amazon Delivery driver a tip without costing you a thing.
I know, I was astonished too!
How Do I Thank My Amazon Delivery Driver?
It's actually really easy if you live in the United States and have an Amazon Alexa, Echo, or Echo Show all you have to do is say 'Hey Alexa, thank my driver".
It's literally that simple.
TikTok user elijahhh471, who is a delivery driver for Amazon breaks it all down for you in a series of videos.
It's really that easy, with how hard our delivery workers are working right now the least we can do is show our gratitude.
There is a small catch though that I don't think is mentioned in that video.
NJ.com reports that drivers need to garner 1 million thank you's before receiving their 5-dollar bonus.
Really?
Amazon makes over 1 billion dollars a day, and drivers need to get 1 million people to say 'Hey Alexa, thank my driver' before getting a 5-dollar bonus?
That just doesn't sit right with me for some reason.
However, NJ.com reports that Amazon will give the top 5 employees with the most thank you's a ten thousand dollar bonus
Amazon will also donate ten thousand dollars to the charity of that worker's choice.
