New Brewery Coming To Point Pleasant

The Point Pleasant Zoning Board has approved the plans to open a new brewery on Bay Avenue in Point Pleasant.

Nick Jiorle and Bert Roling are the co-owners of Last Wave Brewing Company. The two are renovating an existing building on Bay Avenue in Point Pleasant to be the home of their brewery. They chose Point Pleasant Beach due to the "artisan feel of the town."

Roling said

This is a great opportunity for us to bring our beers to the Jersey Shore and this is a nice little niche spot. Nick and I have been brewing together for a long time now, a little over five years, slowly honing our recipes and finding what flavors we really love. A big part of this is going to be our ability to really explore brewing and have some fun with some scratch recipes. That is the beauty of having a small brewery, you can tweak and hone as you go along and create new recipes for the people who come in often and help support us."

No timeline for the brewery has been announced, but maybe Last Wave will be ready for next year's BrewMaster Madness!
