Yes Halloween breakfast cereals have become very popular and now there are several varieties available, but the originals are Count Chocula and Frankenberry...both debuted in 1971. Boo-Berry did not appear until a year later in 1973.

It's hard to believe it's been 50 years since the Count and Frankie debuted. Now it seems they become the most popular cereal every Halloween. Now with it being the 50th Anniversary, General Mills has come out with a special "50th Anniversary" edition called "Monster Mash".

The 50th Anniversary "Monster Mash cereal features all the monsters...Frankenberry, Count Cokula, Boo Berry, Fruit Brute, and Yummy Mummy. By the way, Fruit Brute was introduced in 1974 but discontinued in 1982.  Fruit Brute was a "fruity" flavored monster cereal with a werewolf mascot. When General Mills discontinued Fruit Brute it replaced it with a similar cereal featuring Yummy Mummy in 1988. The fruit-flavored Yummy Mummy was discontinued in 1993.

Now for the 50th Anniversary, all five monsters are together for the first time in "Monster Mash". The problem is I cannot find it anywhere....so where is this cereal? people are listing on eBay for $50 and amazon for $20 lol I'm not paying that much lol so where can I find it? HELP .... it's an Ocean County Breakfast Show Mystery!
