Fun Motorcycle Ride for a Fantastic Cause Happening in Ocean County, NJ
Events like these are a big reason I want to get a motorcycle someday.
I've told my story before about how I was so close to owning my own bike just to have filled out some paperwork wrong and have it not work out.
Even if you don't own a bike though, you'll still want to check out this local event.
Did I mention that there's also going to be a buffet, live music, and a raffle?
That crosses off a whole bunch of stuff on my "fun list" right there.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 18th for the 8th annual Memorial Charity Drive and Ride.
What is the Memorial Charity Drive and Ride?
The ride is in honor of Arthur Szymanski, and the proceeds go to help families and children affected by a cancer diagnosis.
According to the events Facebook page the ride will also benefit Oceans of Love, and Fight with Fi.
Where does the Ride Take Place?
Riders will meet up at 10:30 AM for registration at the Central Regional Middle School, and it's $20 per rider.
Riders will ride from CRMS through the Pinelands and back through Chatsworth and will eventually ride back to the Waterfront in Lacey for the after-party.
The ride kicks off at noon.
You also don't have to have a bike according to the event page, the after-party is an open invitation with a $30 donation, and will feature live music from the band Sneak Attack.
