I'm a huge baseball fan. First and foremost, I'm a Yankee fan, but I love the sport, I follow along with whatever news I can, I've played fantasy baseball for way too long...I just love baseball.

I also love laughing at the Mets.

The latest embarrassment for the franchise happened during a ceremony to honor the 1969 Championship Team. As you'd expect, part of the ceremony included a video highlighting the players who were no longer with us:

Boy, this is awkward. Jim Gosger took to Facebook to assure everyone that reports of his death were greatly exaggerated.

The Mets did reach out to apologize to Gosger, along with Jesse Hudson, who was also prematurely declared dead. And of course, since they're the Mets, they misspelled Hudson's name as "Jessie".

God I love watching the Mets screw everything up.
