Recalls seem to be rampant in and around the Garden State right now and it's kind of alarming.

For example, last month we had an apple juice recall, the juice was being recalled due to higher-than-allowed levels of arsenic being found in the apple juice.

More on that here, but the fact that any level of arsenic is okay is mind-blowing to me.

We also had that milk recall in September, so you'll want to double-check your fridge to ensure you don't have any of this type of Lactaid milk.

Even Harley Davidson had to make a recall announcement in September, recalling almost 45 thousand motorcycles due to some safety concerns.

More on the Harley Davidson recall right here.

Now, another vehicle recall has been announced for one of the most popular brands of car in the Garden State.

Mazda Announces Massive Recall That Could Affect Thousands Of NJ Residents

Mazda is one of the more popular brands of vehicles in New Jersey, a few of my coworkers drive a Mazada, and so does my wife, so when I see them announce a recall I get a little concerned.

According to NJ.com, Mazda announced that it's recalling 77 thousand MX-5 Miata's that were sold between 2016 and 2023.

The recall is due to airbag speed, the airbags may deploy at a faster-than-normal rate of speed which could cause serious injury and bodily harm if deployed, and those injuries can increase if the passenger isn't wearing a seatbelt.

Mazda should be contacting owners by mail by mid-November, and you'll want to get that recall checked out sooner than later.

Recalls aren't the only thing that's dangerous in Jersey, these roads are pretty scary too.
