It's hard to believe that summer is already over, and a lot of people already have their sights on the holiday season.

I kid you not, I was in a store a few weeks ago with my wife and they already had their Christmas decorations out, Christmas decorations!

You may agree that getting ready for Christmas near the end of September or early October is insane, but now is the perfect time to start stocking up on your Halloween candy for Trick or Treaters.

We just moved into Ocean Gate a few months ago, and we are really excited to finally have trick-or-treaters stop by our house (hopefully)so we can see all the costumes and hand our candy to the neighborhood kids.

We've always rented in College Towns up until now or in Seaside Heights so we really haven't had trick-or-treaters to hand out candy to.

So that kind of left us asking ourselves what a good candy to get to hand out.

I threw the question up on the 105.7 The Hawk Facebook page "What's the worst Halloween candy to get/hand out?" hoping for some good advice.

And there were a ton of great answers.

Everything from pennies to apples, Neco Wafers to circus peanuts, and tons of stuff in between.

So heed this warning New Jersey, these are the worst Halloween candies you could give out, so maybe avoid these while you're prepping for trick-or-treaters.

By the way, I think #14 is a very controversial pick for a bad candy!
