Manchester Police seized 1,000 wax folds of heroin with a street value of $5,000.00 during a traffic stop on Route 70 near New Jersey Way on Friday.

The vehicle was pulled over for a motor vehicle violation and an investigation led officers from the Manchester Police Department's Narcotics Enforcement Team to search inside and that's where they found the heroin along with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Nyqua J. Reed, 19, and Diavian K. Jiles, 19, were arrested and charged with several offenses.

Their vehicle was seized as well pending forfeiture.

Reed was ultimately charged with Possession of Heroin, Possession with Intent to Distribute Heroin, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Loitering to Distribute Heroin, Obstruction and Failure to Surrender CDS.

Jiles was charged with Possession of Heroin and Failure to Surrender CDS.
