Major Impact? How Much Snow is Coming This Weekend to Ocean County, New Jersey
It's the big question this week...will it snow this weekend in Ocean County and if it does, how much? If YOU are a "snow lover" your fingers are crossed and you have your sled by the back door lol if you are a realist you are not as energized. Yes, there is a chance of snow this weekend here at the Jersey Shore.
If you have lived any time here at the Shore you know winter weather can change on a dime for us and the mighty Atlantic Ocean we live on plays a key factor in our weather. Many times Jack Frost has had his sights on us, only to find it turn to rain with warmer air of the Atlantic moving into the picture. So basically we usually have to wait and see when it comes to snow, cause you never know.
So let's go to our weather guru ... Townsquare Meteorologist Dan Zarrow and his latest forecast, at this time...
FRIDAY... TURNING CLOUDY... A FEW SNOW SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE DURING THE DAY... THEN THE CHANCE FOR STEADIER, HEAVIER, ACCUMULATING SNOW AT NIGHT... HIGH 36
WEEKEND... POTENTIALLY SNOWY AND WINDY THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING... THEN BITTER COLD... HIGHS FOR BOTH SATURDAY AND SUNDAY AROUND 28... THE WIND CHILL ON SUNDAY MORNING COULD DIP BELOW ZERO
Dan Zarrow is saying it is still too early to start calling for "snow amounts" but he will keep us posted and you can stay with us for the latest on our weekend winter storm possibilities here at the Shore.
Look at those temps Sunday, after the snow...wind chills below zero
