Long Branch man high on heroin arrested in Ocean Township

Sitting alone in a parked car at 8:01 pm Tuesday night at the Seaview Square Shopping Plaza was suspicious reason enough for two police detectives to approach the man inside.

Detectives with Ocean Township Police (Monmouth County) who approached the car to investigate found 23-year-old Christopher Delisa of Long Branch under the influence of heroin.

Delisa was also found with supply of the narcotic along with a hypodermic syringe.

He was then placed in handcuffs, processed and released on a criminal summons pending a future court appearance.
