One of my favorite things in baseball (outside of actual gameplay) is a good manager freakout. When an ump is making consistently bad calls, or just one big glaring one, and a manager comes storming out of the dugout and screams in the ump's face, it's just a glorious thing.

Yesterday, home-plate umpire Brennan Miller was working just his fifth Major League game, and based on the box on the YES Network, he was calling some bad pitches. Brett Gardner took out his aggression on the bat rack and dugout roof, and Boone was chirping from the dugout when Miller finally had enough and tossed him.

That was all it took to set off Boone on an awesome rant, caught on mic:

TIGHTEN THIS S--T UP!
