L.B.I ChowderFest Happening First Weekend of October

The annual two-day ChowderFest Cook-off is happening Saturday, October 5th and Sunday, October 6th at Taylor Avenue and 9th Street Waterfront in Beach Haven, Long Beach Island.

It's a huge event that attracts thousands of people every year to drink beer, listen to music, check out local vendors, and of course......Chowder!!

On Saturday, October 5th, it's all about the Merchant Mart from 10 am-5 pm. Organizers are asking the public to BYOB...Bring Your Own BAG since the Merchant Mart is a plastic bag and a balloon Free event. There will be live music, games for the kids AND adults, and so much more

On Sunday, October 6th...It's all about the Chowder. New England Clam Chowder, Manhattan Clam Chowder. Just delicious Chowder!

The ChowderFest Cookoff Classic kicks off at 11a.

Tickets for the October 6 Cook-Off cost: Children to age 12 – $10, General Admission – $30, VIP – $70 (VIP Ticket must be purchased by 9/26)
