There's nothing worse than seeing another closure in the Garden State.

Asbury Park is also home to a lot of really cool and unique pizza places like Talula's, Capitoline, and even R-Bar has a really good custom pie.

One of my favorite pizza places though, was Killer Pies.

They opened a few years ago and had, as the name implies, killer pizza.

It was on the thinner side which I don't always like, but I was a fan of this place.

I'll be sad to see this place go, any time a really cool local establishment has to close its doors it's never great.

Now, if this means you have to find a new place to grab pizza, these are a few of the places in Jersey that Dave Portnoy would recommend.
