Aerosmith's Joe Perry has added a song to Amnesty International's "Chimes of Freedom: The songs of Bob Dylan: Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International".  The album is due out January 24th and features a great lineup of artists, including Pete Townshend, Mark Knopfler, Jackson Browne, Lenny Kravitz, Patti Smith and Paul Rodgers, with Bob Dylan himself performing the title track.

Amnesty International supports the release of prisoners of conscience, those people worldwide who are imprisoned for the peaceful expression of their beliefs.

Joe lent his talents to the song, "Man of Peace" from the 1983 Dylan album, Infidels.  He performed it in September at a Vermont benefit:
