Everyone has seen the wind turbines driving into Atlantic City.  Curious to know how they work or what they power?  You can find out this summer by taking part in a free open house tour of the ACUA Wind Farm in Atlantic City every "Windsday" at noon!

A free and family-friendly place to visit, the ACUA is an educational facility that can help teach our children and ourselves about the past, present, and future of clean energy.  The tour itself is said to last about an hour, and at the end of the tour, you are permitted to put a hard hat on and get up close to a wind turbine.

Tours begin promptly at noon in the main lobby of the ACUA building at the Wind Farm in Atlantic City.  Try to arrive early, wear close-toed shoes, and bring sunscreen, bug spray, and plenty of water.

President of ACUA, Matt DeNafo, talks more about this on Living Well with Robin Stoloff.  Check it out!
