We've been following this saga since November, and with just hours to go til the first pitch of the Yanks' 2016 season, it still appears to be a stalemate.

Comcast has been running print and radio ads saying YES demanded a 33% rate increase to allow Comcast to carry the network.  In an interesting reply, YES Network CEO Tracy Dolgin said "The price increase they refer to happened in February 2015 ... The 'now' they are referring to happened over a year ago and they paid it until Nov. 17."

This article is basically a bunch of circular talk, a war of words between the bosses of Comcast and the bosses of YES. Each one is throwing out numbers that prove they're right, and the other counters with their own stats.

The worst part of all of this is that it's a battle between a pair of billion dollar companies, and the only people that will suffer are fans.

If you are a Comcast subscriber you can go to KeepYESNetwork.com to find providers that carry YES Network.
