Here’s How You Can Help The Victims of Hurricane Harvey

The pictures and videos we have been seeing in Texas over the last few days from Hurricane Harvey are absolutely devastating.

In total, parts of Houston and the surrounding areas will received 30-50 inches of rain, with more rain expected.

Over 5,000 people are in shelters, and the cost of destruction to homes and businesses in that area will be in the billions of dollars.

The people of Texas need our help. Here are ways to do so:

• Text the word HARVEY or REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation to the American Red Cross. You can also visit redcross.org or call 1- 800-RED CROSS.
• Text UWFLOOD to 41444 to donate to the United Way Flood Relief Fund.
• Donations to support The Salvation Army's Hurricane Harvey relief efforts can be made at helpsalvationarmy.org or by calling 1-800-SAL-ARMY
