UPDATE: The township just announced a few changes to the drive-in experience on Facebook.

Due to the overwhelming response to the Drive-In Movie announcement, the Township has made some changes. The movies will be held at Drum Point Sports Complex to increase the number of vehicles that can attend. Registration will be required. The movies will be open to residents of Brick Township only.

Registration for the first movie - The Lion King - will begin at noon this coming Monday. Register online at brickrec.twp.brick.nj.us.

If you register and cannot attend the movie, please call Recreation so your reservation can be given to another family. If you register and do not attend without calling, you may be prohibited from registering for additional movies.

Every Friday evening from June 5 through July 3, Drum Point Sports Complex in Brick will host drive-in movies!

Brick Mayor John Ducey said

We usually have our Drive-In Movies in August, however, once Governor Murphy announced that drive-ins were allowed, I asked our Recreation Department to get some going quickly. We want to give people the chance to get out and have some quality family time. Hopefully this is the start of a fun summer in Brick Township.

The movies will begin at dusk and the gates to the parking area will open approximately one hour before sundown. Parking is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Here's the lineup of movies:

JUNE 5 - The Lion King (2019)

JUNE 12 - Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

JUNE 19 - Frozen II

JUNE 26 - Jumanji: The Next Level

JULY 3 - Toy Story 4

Great movies to bring the family out to! Just get there early to make sure you get a good spot, pack some snacks, and enjoy!
