On Monday morning, August 13th, a crazy rain storm dropped almost eight inches of rain in just a few hours that flooded 114 homes in the Greenbriar Senior Community of Brick Township, forcing many residents to be rescued and evacuated by boat. With no power and waist-high water, homes were left uninhabitable. Many homeowners at Greenbriar are STILL displaced.

Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity is steadfast in our commitment to rebuild Greenbriar and get its residents home for the holidays. They currently need contractors, volunteers, donors, and business partners in order to make this vision a reality.

You can also make a financial donation by clicking HERE (once you click that link, scroll down to the bottom of the page on their website to specifically help Greenbriar).

Executive Director of the Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity, Suzan Fichtner, and Susan Marticek, Executive Director of Compass 82, stopped by the Hawk Studios earlier today asking for the communities help in getting the Greenbriar Residents Home for the Holidays.
