I am not a big fan of a lot of sweets but this is the one time of year where I'm totally fine with keeping some extra candy around the house.

I tell my wife it's for trick or treaters, but she knows for a fact I'm dipping into the bag early!

We all have our favorite candy; some people love Kit-Kat, Snickers, or Milky-ways.

Other people like to be on the sweeter side of things and love starbursts, skittles, or maybe Swedish Fish.

It's always fun to talk about the Halloween candies that you absolutely love.

My all time favorite is Heath Bars, Butterfingers, and Charleston Chews, although I really don't know the last time I saw a Charleston Chew in a candy bowl!

What I'm really curious about though is what Halloween candies are the most hated.

Something that you just can't stand to eat or see other people eat.

A candy that, when you see it makes you want to walk the other way.

I threw that question out on Facebook, and the responses were all over the place!

Some people were in agreement as to what the worst candy was, and some people really went out of the box with their answer which I love to see.

Some of the answers really made me laugh, while others made me scratch my head and think "I didn't know anyone hated that type of candy!"

Before we dig in, I'll let you know my vote for the worst Halloween candy.

Good and Plenty, pumpkin shaped candy corn, and soda.

Let me elaborate on the soda comment real quick; when I was a kid there was a house that didn't give out candy but rather soda pops, and I always hated that.

It's Halloween, hook me up with  Reese's Cup not a can of RC Cola, thanks!

So, let's take a look at some of the most hated candies around Ocean County New Jersey.
