I was actually just thinking about this over the weekend. Will Six Flags Great Adventure still have their annual "Fright Fest" celebration this year.

They have issued a press release earlier today that they will still celebrate Halloween for the fall season, it's just going to be a little different this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year, Six Flags Great Adventure introduces HALLOWFEST

According to Six Flags:

“Our annual Fright Fest celebration is one of the most anticipated Halloween events of the season. Given the current environment, we are taking special precautions this year and offering our guests a version that is still scary, provides lots of thrilling rides and Halloween fun, and most importantly, is safe for our guests and team members,” said Six Flags President and CEO Mike Spanos. “We will operate HALLOWFEST the same way we have operated our parks all summer, with daily temperature checks and face masks required for guests and team members prior to entry, social distancing, and enhanced sanitization measures.”

Hallowfest will run September 18th, through November 1st, and will operate from 2 to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, and from 5 p.m. with varying closing times on Friday evenings.

During Hallowfest, from 2 p.m to 6 p,m there will be plenty of family-friendly Halloween themed activities for the family, but after 6 p.m, Six Flags will feel like "Fright-Fest" once again with (according to their website) "the horrors of nightmares are unleashed for their daily haunting rituals and you may find yourself in spine-tingling ghoul-filled scare zones without warning!"
