Freezing Temperatures Opens Toms River Shelter This Week

Due to the freezing cold temperatures that we are experiencing this week, the recreation building at Riverwood Park will open its doors to the homeless and those in need of a warm place to sleep during the next few nights.

According to Jersey Shore Online:

The Recreation building, located off Whitesville Road, will be open during the following times:

• Monday 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.
• Tuesday 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.
• Wednesday 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.
