For most people, the moments following a bad car crash wouldn't exactly be the idea time to whip out the phone to take a selfie.

But this guy isn't most people, apparently.

Andrew MacDonald was in a nasty crash last month on Vancouver Island in Duncan, British Columbia, where rescuers had to use the Jaws of Life to get him out of his 1993 Honda Accord. And he shot a selfie video WHILE they were doing it, The Times-Colonist reported.

He kept filming his face while they were cutting through the car, and seemed WAY too relaxed about the whole thing.

That is even more impressive when you find out he broke his arm, his femur, his knee cap, BOTH ankles and spent a month in the hospital.

We are going to assume that he was in shock and the reality of his situation hadn't quite set in yet.
