Exit 83 Might Be Coming To Parkway South

This probably won't happen for a while, but if approved, there will be an Exit 83 on the Garden State Parkway heading southbound that would exit onto Route 571 in Toms River.

According to Toms River Shorebeat,

“The lack of a southbound exit ramp between Brick Township at Interchange 88 and Toms River Township at Interchange 82 contributes to the congestion on the alternate north-south routes and the local roadway network,”

Meetings that took place back in 2015 shows that there is support from the public for a southbound exit 83.
