Eggs Are Being Recalled In 9 States, Here’s What New Jersey Needs To Know
You would like to think that the food we eat is safe, wouldn't you?
When you go to Shoprite, or Stop And Shop, or Acme, you expect that what you buy is absolutely safe for consumption, don't you?

I know I do, so when we start seeing recalls on a regular basis now, it's mildly concerning and downright alarming.
And it seems like more and more recalls are coming about lately, like a cucumber recall that saw tons of cucumbers get tossed away to prevent the spread of Salmonella.
We also recently saw a massive tomato recall, and there were several salsas and salads that had a recall put in place over the past week or so.

As of now, the eggs are being recalled in 9 states: California, Washington, Arizona, Illinois, Indiana, New Mexico, Nebraska, Nevada, and Wyoming.
Although New Jersey hasn't been named as one of the states facing a recall, there's still cause for concern in the Garden State, as the CDC reports that at least 1 person in our state has been affected by these tainted eggs.
If you think you may have some of these eggs in your fridge, you're urged to throw the contaminated product away or return it to the store.
