Get Ready New Jersey, This Convenience Store Has Big Plans
I'm a pretty big fan of convenience store lunches.
They're quick and easy, and there's usually something for everyone; whether you're looking for a hoagie, a wrap, salad, or snack.
New Jersey is home to some great little convenience stores; Krauszers, Quick Stop in Lavallette has an awesome cheese steak, and of course, there's always Wawa.
Just last month, Wawa actually announced a pretty massive expansion plan in New Jersey, and now a direct competitor is getting ready to do something similar.
Now, I'm originally from Pennsylvania and relocated to the Garden State earlier this year, and to be honest I had never heard of this chain until getting here.
It reminds me a lot of Wawa though; they're known for freshly made hoagies, grilled cheeses, coffees, and frozen beverages and also have fuel at most locations.
In addition, you can only find this place in New Jersey and parts of New York and Long Island which explains why I wasn't familiar.
This chain opened a brand new location just last week, and they also plan on opening seven new stores in New Jersey in the near future.
What Other Convenience Chain Is Expanding In New Jersey?
Maybe you passed one of these places this morning, or maybe you're reading this while filling up your tank at one right now!
QuickChek will be opening seven new locations throughout New Jersey according to NJ.com
In fact, QuickChek just had a grand opening for their store in Parlin last week, and this new store features a dining area, and fuel, and operates 24/7.
Where Will The New QuickChek Locations Be In New Jersey?
Clarkstown, Denville, East Hanover, Ridgefield, Scotch Plains, Totowa and Union Township
Currently, there are over 160 QuickChek locations throughout New Jersey, parts of New York, and Long Island.
So, whether you're a die-hard Wawa enthusiast like me, a QuickChek fan, or a fan of your local corner store there are plenty of options for quick, easy, and delicious meals in New Jersey.
