Especially when it's to celebrate one of the most beloved little convenience stores in New Jersey?

Now, there are a ton of great convenience stores in the Garden State.

Places like Quick Check and 7-11 are nice because generally speaking you can get gas along with your coffee and sometimes a decent road snack.

There are also a ton of convenience stores that are strictly stores, like the Neptune Market or Whitesville Market & Deli.

Places that that, in my experience tend to have some of the best sandwiches around because the meats are cut right then and there in the store.

There's also a place in Lavallette, called the Quick Stop which is a small convenience store off 35 that had one of the best cheesesteaks I've had at the shore.

Those spots are all great, but none of them are the place that's expanding rapidly in the Garden State.

So What Convenience Is Opening New Locations Throughout New Jesrey?

One of my personal favorites, and a place that for years I wasn't able to go to for my coffee, hoagies, or snacks because I lived in Central PA.

It's definitely an East Coast favorite, and when you tell people from out of town that you're going to pick up lunch from a gas station they usually look at you funny.

But here's the thing, this place started off as a convenience store and then started selling gas.

Of course, I'm talking about Wawa.

According to NJ,com Wawa recently opened up a new store in Vorhees New Jersey earlier this week.

But they also reported that Wawa plans on opening up 33 more stores in Jersey this year alone.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm a Wawa fanatic, but already you can't go more than a mile or two before running into one, so I'm curious where they're going to find room for even more locations.

All in all though, Wawa CEO Chris Gheysens said they plan on having nearly 1,800 Wawa's open along the East Coast by 2030 according to NJ.com.

That's a lot of Wawa!
