Come play us in a game of basketball or softball this year!

It's a new year filled with new goals and new opportunities and among them are some plans to play ball!

We at Townsquare Media Jersey Shore put together a softball team last summer and are looking to continue playing in 2019 and we've put together a basketball team ready to throw down some dunks and hit some three-pointers.

We are a team filled with talent from various departments here at the radio station including some of our on-air talent from 92.7-WOBM, Beach Radio-1160/1310 AM, 94.3ThePoint and 105.7TheHawk.

As we put together our basketball and softball season schedules for 2019, we would like to invite any 501(c)3 community groups or organizations in Monmouth and Ocean Counties looking for a fun way to raise money and create awareness for your important local cause to play us in a single-exhibition game on the hardwood or on a softball field this year.

We're not professional athletes, just a group of friends looking to have some fun outside the office and help you raise funds and awareness for your cause.

Our first game together last year was a softball game against the Toms River Police Department at Toms River High School South where we helped them raise money for the TR Police Foundation.

They beat us but we all had some fun and that's what counts.
