Thankfully I have never had to experience having a vehicle stolen from me, but I'm sure there are plenty of you reading this right now that it has happened too.

Well according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, these are the top ten cars that are stolen in New Jersey.

1. Honda Civic
2. Honda Accord
3. Ford Pickup
4. Dodge Caravan
5. Nissan Altima
6. Toyota Camry
7. Ford Econoline E-250
8. Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokee
9. Ford Econoline E-350
10. Toyota Corolla

Most of these vehicles that are stolen are older models, and that is because new cars are equipped with systems that make it almost impossible to start a vehicle without the electronic fob.
