I'm happy to say I got to stay here last night!

I want to thank Sue and her husband John for such a pleasant stay...(you got the reference, didn't you?)...

600 Main, a beautiful B&B in Toms River, is the perfect place to stay for it's charm, history, luxurious accommodations, warmth, and the welcome you receive immediately from the owners, who go out of their way to make you feel like you are absolutely their priority.

Want to plan a romantic getaway for two?

Guys, your woman will be blown away by the beauty of this historic building, which has what so many love in buildings from the past--the ever sought after 'character'.

From the B&B website 600MainNJ.com:

600 Main is located in the Mathis House, former home of Thomas A. Mathis, who early in the last century was a leading political figure in Ocean County. The house, a stunning example of Dutch Revival architecture, was built in 1897. It is a three-story structure, with a grand porch, portico, graceful lawns and preserved carriage house. Visitors can use the circular driveway from Main Street to enter through the home’s magnificent wooden front doors, or park in the private well-lit lot in the rear.

The house has a grand foyer, parlor, formal dining room, library, tearoom and sitting area on the first floor. An impressive wooden staircase near the baby grand piano leads up to the second floor and a gathering room and five bedroom suites: Lady Genevieve, Princess Victoria, Countess Stephanie, Lady Samantha and Queen Alexa, all with private baths and upscale amenities. Up the staircase to the third floor there is another gathering area and two more rooms ready for guests: Duchess Tobie and King John.

Plan your next getaway at this stunning B&B in the heart of downtown Toms River soon--you won't be disappointed.
