Celebrate A Christmas Cruise-Thru With The Jersey Shore BlueClaws

Drive-thrus seem to be the hottest trend for Christmas 2020. Great Adventure is doing a Holiday in the Park Drive Thru, Bloodshed Farms is doing a Creepy Christmas Drive Thru, and now the Jersey Shore BlueClaws are hosting their own Christmas Cruise Thru!

Traditionally, the BlueClaws Charities host a "Breakfast With Buster Holiday Food & Toy Drive", but due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions, that sort of event is not possible. Instead the BlueClaws will make First Energy Park in Lakewood a winter wonderland!

BlueClaws Team President Joe Ricciutti said

We’ve welcomed Santa to FirstEnergy Park for the last two decades, and while we can’t do that in the traditional manner this year, we wanted to still offer local families the chance to see Santa and for kids to drop off their letters. Plus, our community has been immensely supportive of the Salvation Army and their food and toy drive over the years, and that is especially important in 2020.

Mark your calendars for Saturday December 12th, and head to the stadium starting at 10am. There will be four different stations set up in the parking lot (keep in mind that fans will never leave their vehicle, and all BlueClaws staff members will be wearing masks at all times).

• Item Collection – BlueClaws staff will be collecting unwrapped toys and non-perishable food to benefit the Salvation Army of Ocean County.
• Letters to Santa – Children are encouraged to bring letters for Santa. The BlueClaws Elves will collect them and send them off to the North Pole!
• Picture with Buster and Santa – Santa and Buster will take a picture in front of each car, which will be emailed after the event.
• Hot Chocolate - The BlueClaws will deliver hot chocolate to each car as a thank you for their participation.

Each vehicle will also receive a coupon code that can be used online for 25% off in the Jersey Shore BlueClaws Team Store.

It's going to be the weirdest holiday season that any of us have ever experienced, so let's make the best of it!
