Food eating contests aren't a new thing, you've heard of hot dog eating contests, wing eating contests, and of course, you've heard of pie eating contests.

There's something about watching people test the limits of the human body with food that is truly amazing!

One thing I've never seen or heard of though is a cannoli eating eating contest.

Imagine having to work your way through a big old pile of crispy rolled fried dough, filled with that sweet filling and maybe topped with some powdered sugar or chopped chocolate.

For some people, it sounds like a little much, for others, it's a dream come true.

NJ's First Cannoli Eating Contest Is Coming To Colts Neck

Mambo Italiano is a little Italian market in Colts Neck owned and operated by Anthony Bruno who opened the market after moving to Jersey from Brooklyn.

On July 13th, competitors will have exactly 2 minutes to chow down on as many cannolis as they can, and if you come out victorious you'll be awarded greatly, according to APP.

The winner of Mambo Italiano's very first cannoli eating contest will win a $125 gift card to Mambo Italiano, and the second-place winner will win a $50 gift card to the market.

The contest starts at 5:30 PM, and you do have to be at least 18 years of age or have a parent or guardian present with you if you are not old enough.
