It's the news we were hoping we weren't going to hear this summer, but Brick Summerfest officials had to make the tough decision to cancel the entire Brick Summerfest concert season due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Last week, Summerfest organizers announced that this Thursday's Brick Summerfest was canceled but they were hoping that the weekly event would happen for the following Thursdays.

Earlier today, we received an email  from Brick Township officials stating,

"The restrictions are getting tighter and are not loosening as we had hoped. Therefore, the Mayor feels its best to cancel this year’s Summerfest concert series and Car Show"

Yesterday it was announced the Manasquan Intracoastal Tug of War over the Manasquan Inlet scheduled to happen in October has been canceled, and it was also announced that the New Jersey Festival of Ballooning that was also supposed to take place in October, has been canceled this year as well.
